Paper Company

A paper products company that had acquired several small manufacturing units in several locations realized that it needed a system for streamlining and standardizing its business processes and giving the employees a centralized location in which they can collaborate online. It was also important to the organization that their content would be available during WAN disruptions, such as during a natural disaster. The company already used Lotus Domino for their content management needs, but they decided that a SharePoint implementation would best meet their business requirements.

Unbounded Solutions designed and implemented a new Microsoft SharePoint server farm that would fulfill all of the organization’s requirements. We also implemented Microsoft Transporter Suite 2007 for Lotus Domino in order to migrate their content from their existing Lotus environment to the new SharePoint platform. This solution provided a centralized location for all team sites and corporate content, had powerful search capabilities, connected all of the company’s different acquisitions, and improved site hierarchy for more manageable and efficient support and security for the entire organization.
