The Beginnings
Vik Thadani, CEO and founder of the company, wanted to give his organization a name that showed that his organization would always have a solution to the clients’ needs. While having dinner with another Ga Tech grad and colleague one night, Vik expressed this sentiment. The colleague replied that
"look to the root of technology, mathematics…"
Vik should look to the root of technology, mathematics, for his answer. The answer was, well, an answer: an unbounded solution is a mathematical term for a math problem when the answer is limitless. This idea fit Vik’s notion of an IT Consulting firm that always had that right solution, and so Unbounded Solutions came to be.
