Pfizer had implemented independent Documentum solutions supporting content management needs at the various global locations. They had selected the EMC Documentum 5.3 system as their Enterprise Content Management solution because of Documentum's very broad set of capabilities, this selection was also in support of its strategic objective of consolidation and standardization on a common ECM platform.
The Unbounded Team was engaged to create a shared Documentum environment to host all of Pfizer's U.S. and Global Documentum implementations. Unbounded consultants worked on providing migration services from Documentum 4.x to 5.x for over 180 Docbases spanning over multiple locations and varied platforms. Our consultants were able to provide a structured and reusable migration approach to satisfy Pfizer's strict regulation requirements.
