Lyondell Basell is one of the world's largest polymers, chemicals and fuels companies. LyondellBasell has combined annual revenues of $54.6 billion* and more than 16,000 employees worldwide. This multinational company with annual revenues of over $40 billion wanted to develop an intranet site where their sales staff could see and evaluate real time sales data from their SAP system. Unbounded Solutions consultants implemented a SAP-SharePoint integration which consisted of numerous Web Parts that consumed custom SAP web services to pull information from SAP. This data was tailored to the current user and represented in both tabular and graphical displays. Users were able to graphically see sales figures for indivudual product lines and as well products volumes per customer and region. Users had the ability to drill down further to see more information as required. As LyondellBasell was a global company the users had the option to easily customize their views to either US or Metric, Dollars or Euros, etc.
