Boehringer Ingelheim GmbH is an internationally recognized developer, manufacturer and supplier of presiption medicine, consumer healthcare and animal health care products. Boehringer Ingelheim has developed and implemented various enterprise software products to automate and manage smooth operations aoss its worldwide offices.Unbounded Solutions being the EMC SST partner of choice for integration services, Boehringer Ingelheim partnered with USI in an effort to facilitate integration between their two mission itical enterprise level solutions, EMC Documentum and BEA Weblogic Portal. After an intensive evaluation of the data being processed and the individual business needs of the two systems, Unbounded Solutions implemented EMC Documentum’s Content Services for BEA Weblogic Web Portal to facilitate the unobtrusive flow and exchange of pertinent data between to the two systems. The solution allowed Boehringer Ingelheim to automate the publication of the content from Documentum to their corporate BEA Weblogic portal.
